After breakfast, we trade smooth city streets for something a bit more rugged. Our fleet of 4×4 jeeps is waiting, ready to take you deep into Georgia’s mountain heart. The destination: Bakuriani – one of Georgia’s top winter resort towns, nestled on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range.
But we’re not taking the easy way. We venture off the highway and onto a mix of forest trails, remote tracks, and winding dirt roads (depending on snow conditions). Expect mud, snow patches, and killer views. Along the way, we’ll stop for a traditional Georgian lunch. As the altitude climbs, so do the snow levels. By evening, we’ll roll into Bakuriani.
Driving Time: ~5 hours (with breaks)
Route: Mixed off-road (weather/snow dependent)

After breakfast, we hop onto snowmobiles and head out across the highland winter wonderland. Today’s destination is the frozen Tabatskuri Lake – a mystical alpine lake sitting at nearly 2,000 meters. The route carves through deep pine forests, open meadows, and white-blanketed villages that feel frozen in time.
We enjoy a hot lunch on the way. After a full day of snowy exploration, we return to our cozy hotel in Bakuriani, where a fireplace and hearty dinner await.

One last ride before heading back. We start the day with a final snowmobile loop around village Tori with forest trails and alpine zones — short but spectacular. This half-day ride gives you one more hit of winter adrenaline before the trip winds down.
After returning the snowmobiles, we enjoy lunch in Bakuriani, followed by the 4×4 drive back to Tbilisi. We aim to be back by early evening, giving you time to relax before dinner. Tonight, we’ll celebrate the trip with a proper Georgian feast – think khinkali, khachapuri, and a few toasts with locally made wine or chacha.
